About Run The Reagan, Inc.


Run the Reagan® is an annual community event featuring a marathon, 5k and 10k race down Ronald Reagan Parkway. In addition, the event features a 1k fun run. All proceeds, other than those necessary to produce the event, will be donated to charitable organizations. This year’s designated recipients are The Southeast Gwinnett Cooperative Ministry, The Lilburn Cooperative Ministry, and The Brookwood Schools Foundation.
As you are aware, several of our residents are in need of assistance. We felt that the mission statements of the local food banks fell in line with Run The Reagan®, Inc. Therefore we chose them as the first year’s recipient of our charitable fund. We also ask each participant in the race to bring a non-perishable food item to help us with our goal to help these co-ops.
Run the Reagan®, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization composed of local business leaders.

Our mission is to plan and produce fundraising events that will benefit local 501(c)(3) organizations that provide much needed services to residents of our community.

Run The Reagan®, Inc. has been granted permission to close the Ronald Reagan Parkway in order to continue the Run The Reagan® Road Race.

AWARDS for half marathon will be given 3 deep in 10 year increments from 19 and under to 70 and over. 5k and 10k awards will be given to the overall M/F and Masters M/F top finishers and 3 deep in 10 year increments from 14 and under to 70 and over. Mile fun run finishers will receive a ribbon. All half marathon finishers will receive a commemorative Run the Reagan® medal.

FAMILY FESTIVAL - Join us Race Day, Saturday, February 23rd, 8am until 1:00pm for Gwinnett’s largest finish line celebration. Enjoy music, inflatables, food, fun, and other family activities.

THE BENEFICIARIES - Run the Reagan was created to serve our community by providing a premiere event that draws positive attention to Gwinnett County. It also provides a fun atmosphere for families in the area to participate together in a healthy activity and raises funds to meet the needs of families and children in our community.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION - Thanks for signing up for the 2019 Run The Reagan. Your contribution will help some excellent charity organizations. Along with your entry fee, we are asking you bring a non-perishable food item to donate to hungry men, women, and children of Gwinnett County.

Note: We DO NOT encourage "hand-cyclists" to participate during the actual Run The Reagan. You are welcome to access the parkway after the race. We do welcome all wheelchair participants.
